Merry Christmas and Happy Belated Birthday

Here are some pictures we took in Christmas festivities. Brian's 29th Birthday was yesterday so we did a combined Christmas Eve/Birthday Gathering at our house. Brian also got a new brace/splinter for his poor hand. But Brian did pretty well with his Birthday gifts. Among them, new Video Ipod (from me) and Sirius Satellite Radio (from Grace & Richard). Even though nobody spoke about this, I think sympathy for his hand has prompted us getting him more expensive gifts for him this year. Amelia also got a ton of gifts. We bought her a toddler basketball hoop and also a play set for the yard. She also got a new playdoh set (thanks for Auntie Jenny), new clothes & shoes (my parents, auntie Jieun, Grace), and new play house for her play room. We hope everyone is having great Christmas and we will be heading to Orlando this Friday to spend our New Year's vacation.

Poor Brian

This year, Brian unwittingly gave himself an early not-so-great birthday present. His office was moving today and he volunteered to help this morning. They were using freight elevator and his left hand got caught in the metal door as it was being closed. Needless to say, he needed to go to Emergency Room and the X-ray showed clean fracture below his left pinky knuckle and index finger knuckle. The doctors thought his hand would get too swelled up overnight, so they want him to come back on Monday to put a cast on instead of putting it on today. So he's just bandaged up and supporting a splinter for the next few days. Monday coincidentally happens to be his Birthday on Christmas Eve. I was very worried for him when I took him to the hospital. He's out of commission on driving for a while and doing any heavy lifting. My poor hubby. I never thought Brian would be the one who would need to go to Emergency Room. Throughout our relationship, it's always been me who had an accident or two. I guess it's my turn to take care of my baby as he had to take care of me in the best. Brian, I love you and I hope you get better fast.
